Any good handwash place in Northern, N.J.
Before you guys say anything. I did do a search and only came up with Concierge Car Wash in Edgewater. I tried calling them, but there is no answer. Not sure if they're still open. I would also post in the detailing section, but since I'm in NJ, I thought I'd start here first. I want to have my car sparkling clean for this Sundays meet at the Garden State Plaza. So any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

i always go to a place where RichP recommended...it's Martin's Car Wash...they are good, my only complaint is their wheel cleaning technique....since I just mounted my iforged on, i'm gonna tell them that i'll clean the wheels myself. But price and service, is awesome.
unfortuneately i dont have the address with me right now. where are you located? After searching on Google, I think this is it. Martins Car Washing 417 12th St Union City, NJ (201) 867-6760 Otherwise i can meet you somewhere and we can both go since I gotta go wash my car too...haven't washed it in a month...(was on vacation)

I went here today, and will NEVER go again. After getting your car washed, your car will get mangled by a bunch of mexican guys who act like they've never seen a bimmer before. They scratched the hood with a 3 ft long scratch (thankfully it doesn't seem to be past the clear coat) with one of the guyss buttons on his pants, and I heard some banging on the hood/dashboard while I was paying for the car wash. I heard that followed by smirks on my arrival back to the car. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place if you care about your car's finish/paint. The guys who work there will have no respect for your car at all. The hand car wash on River Rd is much better, and they treat your car VERY well throughout the car wash.

I used to live in Northern, NJ. There is a hand car wash next to the Citibank on Lemoine Avenue in Fort Lee. They do a great job washing the car and they do excellent detailing as well. Some of the most famous people have gone there to wash there vehicles like Jay-Z, Lil Kim etc. I would go there. Its right by the George Washington Bridge.

That's where I went yesterday morning at 7:30 right when they opened. They did an okay job, I could still see some brake dust on the rims and they didn't clean the glass to well.

I went to the West New York, NJ location of Martin's a couple of times and wasn't very happy with the results. One two occasions, I noticed soap residue that would start to drip out of the doors and mirrors due to poor rinsing techniques. The worst part is that it will look fine at the car wash, but by the time you get home, you have dried up soap stains all over the car.
I would HIGHLY recommend a place called Concierge Hand Car Wash in Edgewater, NJ. They do an excellent job and are only a little more expensive than Martin's ($10). They are located on Old River Road. They are the only people that I will allow to wash my car.

The owner's name is John thats all I know. He has a hand car wash as well as a car rental in the same premesis. To me, his hand car wash is the best. Its right next to the Citibank in Lemoine Avenue in the GWB Bridge Plaza vicinity. You can't miss it.

i only bring it to one place and one place only:
Progressive Car Care (973) 956-1234 587 Union Blvd Totowa, NJ 07512 it might be a lil far but its THE BEST. get there early otherwise you'll be sitting in line. if i dont bring it to a hand wash, i bring it to my local carwash down in Wayne, who do a phenomenal job but its not a hand wash, OR i just do it myself in one of those bays. |
