This has nothing to do with any tuner

I know there were a few guys around cincinnati here that were running over 500whp with them and not blowing their motors. so....? I think if it's an aluminum block, why not throw an aluminum block guard in?

Any materials engineers in here to throw some ideas out?
the correct way to insert a block guard is to machine it to fit perfectly. Just jamming it in can cause the cylinder walls to distort ever so slightly, hampering ring seal and cause scuffing within a few thousand miles.

I think a good question is if meth was used. Was it?
Meth should be doing somewhat of a good job with cleaning that.

not as well as everyone hoped. I know you have been running meth mix for a while. Pop off your manifold and peek at your valves.... I bet you amazed at what you see.... I know I was.
