08 e92 sports package dilemma (19 inch non run-flat vs. 18 inch run-flat)
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the 19-inch style 230 tires are non run-flats. I was thinking of getting rid of the run-flats for the 18’s and getting a set of PS2’s for my 08 e92, but now I have another option with the style 230’s coming to America. Since I would pay approx 1k for a set of 18 inch PS2’s anyway, why not jus get the style 230 19’s for 1k extra and call it a day. The only thing is that I bet the standard tires for the 230’s are not as good as PS2’s. Plus, I originally wanted to get rid of the run flats to achieve better ride quality/handling/grip, but by increasing the rim size and having lower profile tires may cause the car to ride as rough as the it would with the 18 inch run-flats and not necessarily have better grip/handling. U guys r the experts…help me out here…get the 18’s and buy a set of PS2’s or get the 19 inch 230’s?

230s look great, IMO, but the weight and price... I am thinking that we can do better.
