06 330i paint correction

I worked on this one from around noon to 4am

While I did talk a little more with the owners than I should have, there were two big reasons for the long workout.

First The color - my third one. I knew that it hides rids exremely well. You actually can't see them until you level the swirls like in this picture.:chuckle::chuckle::chuckle:

(I had 4 light sources and 3 pair of eyes (most of the time) but unless you look from all and every angle you will think the paint is perfect.

So I had to gently relevel many times. Why gently you ask?

Second

Unusually low numbers that were found all over the place. Did find just one spot that read 132!. Otherwise it was in the 110s and lower. Halfway down on vertical panels the numbers were in the 80s. Each pass was removing alot of clear as well - another weird accurance in my experience.

Here are some befores, all from the inital panel I tested. The rest of the car was as bad as this area except for the hood - that had the deepest and most rids.

Now for the afters - the owner wanted the best look possible and durability wasn't a huge concern as he will make sure to layer protection often, but I think I achived both. I'll see the car next sunday and will take better and more pictures.
