steering wheel with paddles fitted

I have a 2006 e91 330d auto, If I buy a steering wheel with paddles fitted with the wiring connections, do I need any further wiring to connect the paddle wiring to, or are the connections already fitted and just need connecting up?

There's more to it..

Do a search I'm sure there's a guide showing what to do. I only know as I looked at 330ds and it was an option i considered.
