Thinking about getting new seats.

Thinking about putting in new seats. Do i just disconnect all the wires and put in the new seat. There wont be any codes or anything right. Probably just going to put in corbeau seats because there the cheapest.

There will be codes because of the airbags in the seats.

Airbags in the seats? Do you have a link for particulars?

^^^The 'verts have "curtain" airbags installed outboard side of the driver & passenger seats. You'll see the word "airbag" embossed in the cover over the bags location. I thought the curtain airbags were in the A or B pillar on the coupes or sedans. However, as mentioned, removing the OEM seats is going to require coding. The newer "smart" airbag systems (2006 implementation?) use weight in the seat as one of the inputs to determine how explosive the deployment.

Thanks for the info, as my 1 series 'vert does not have them. Guess I'll have to spring for a 3er hardtop to be safe.
