Are there any "Tuner Friendly" Dealerships in Michigan?

Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know of any tuner friendly dealerships in michigan? I bought my 335XI from Erhard Farmington Hills and usually get it serviced at either their Farmington Hills location or their Bloomfield Hills location. I have a JB4 Stage II tune and an AR catless DP and I want to make sure I don't get tagged.

Do any tuners have any recommended SA's anywhere in the metro detroit area that I can rely on?

Obviously the sa doesn't care, why would they? Its not like if something huge happens, ie. transmission failure and BMW refuses to pay for it that it it's coming out of his pocket .

I wish that was true! alot of them actually do care and do give you issues for any modification to the vehicle. I believe they get a bonus for warranties they are able to void. lol

Also, they may not void the warranty on the spot when they see something tune related, but when there is some big warranty claim submitted and BMW NA wants a better explanation as to WHY for example a transmission needs to be replaced on a 20k 335i, and usual answer is due to it being modified beyond the stock specifications which in case the claim will be denied.

Maybe something like the fuel pump, misfires.. small things will fly with a tune but the big stuff definitely not.

I just bought a 335xi from erhard farmington also. Debating on modding with JB4 vs PPK, curious if you have had any work done at the dealership?
