Wanted: CIC Retrofit Upgrade Parts
Im considering doing the CIC upgrade on my E92 and am looking for all the required parts. I have the controller already now, which is great, but I think i now need the screen, new head unit and associated cables.
Let me know if anyone has what I need (and can also confirm exactly what I need) Thanks |

Ah perhaps we should have discussed that before you sent me your other bits! They're all working great by the way, will leave feedback soon.
I've been looking on eBay, you're not lemans99 are you?! So what bits do you have and what do I need? I've read everything I can but I'm a little unsure still! |

Yeah I tried eBay and no one selling the full set. I'm thinking about getting all the kit from one of the guys who do them like bimmer tech or bimmer retrofit but the other half is not happy when I told her the price!

I used seller euro-comand on eBay - supplied me the screen, CIC, controller and CAN emulator for about £800 delivered. I then got the screen cable, CAN plug, USB socket and cable from bmminiparts...
61136954526 - CIC screen blue plug 61119185171 - CIC/display cable 84109237656 - USB socket 61129196805 - USB cable I hooked up the CAN emulator by removing pins from the quadraloc connector and putting them in a four-way connector shell, then making up loom with more connectors to go between the emulator and the quadraloc - to do this, you need: 61136984750 x2 - green plug (male) 61136901731 x2 - green plug (female) 61138364835 x10 - male pin, bare 61138364834 x10 - female pin, bare On CIC, the pins are 9 (CAN lo), 11 (CAN hi), 12 (GND), 15 (+12V).
