but me too can't seem to understand why u decided to swap for the aluminum, cuz I think grey poplar is the perfect match for the two tone jade grey/black interior...maybe I'm wrong. Anyways, congrats on your new ride |

So basically I never changed my mind. Today I picked up the car. Awesome And I don't regret the special order, 'cause I'm not a big fan of the Grey Poplar. Again, it's just me. I prefer aluminum for a coupe.

I really want to see a good trunk lid spoiler. Like an e39 m5 style one. The M-tech spoiler is not my favorite. Anybody know who has one out?

Nice car. Love the color. Here it is without that black box off your starboard bow.

Hey all,
Those of you looking for a Space Gray 328xi with 185s on it, the wait is nearly over. I go to pickup mine tomorrow, first thing in the morning. (Asked the CA to open the dealership up early, but said I'd have to wait for standard business hours )

Never use replica wheels
Quote:
The actual wheels seen on the picture are replica wheels which are cheap copies of the original ones. In terms of quality they have nothing to do with the M6 wheels. I personaly believe that its not right to have such a car and use cheap replica wheels which affects the quality of response as well the safety of the car. Once i bought my 335i we wasted 4 original wheels by trying to modify the offset ("cutting" slices of the wheel's in order to reduce offset to the E92's standards). We never made it to work in the right way. So i said "goodbye" to those nice looking wheels and i kept the originals fitted to my car. |

Does anybody see any pinkish color in the space gray under certain lighting? Kinda like the purple of sparkling graphite. In real life I mean. I want the opinion of owners not picture browsers.
I'm still a bit torn between alpine white and space gray no offense to the picture browsers (i am one), but until you've owned one and seen it in every light you might not know. Last edited by Johnny3; 11-23-2006 at 02:32 PM.. |

Nice pics. Although I am not sure I really like Space Gray, this is because its shade is not a pure gray and it doesn't look as good as Silver Gray which was used on M3 CSL (and other models too).
