Is this DP Rattle? If not, what is it?
I've had my BMS downpipes installed for months now without any kind of rattle. About 2 weeks ago I started getting a vibration rattle when at low RPM and rolling into the throttle in a high gear. We're talking like 10-25% throttle and only at low RPM, basically when I'm bogging the car a bit. I felt around the dash area to see if something was just rattling; like trim or something. Now I'm wondering, could my downpipes have started to rattle somehow? Looking for someone who has had downpipes rattle to either confirm or deny this suspicion before I decide to crawl underneath the car.

I don't think that noise is from the downpipes. I had a slight rattle from my downpipes (they were adjusted and rattle went away) and it sounded nothing like that. I could be wrong, though.

I just spoke to my mechanic and he said to check the top strut brace center bolt. He said it's a common problem for it to come loose on the E90, Z4, and E60. I'll take a look this weekend.

Does not sound like the wastegate rattle I had before changing my turbos.
