Looks great, but I remember reading it's getting the same V6 that's in the Camry I know they have some agreement with using Toyota powerplants, but you could get the same power out of a turbo 4... doesn't seem very Lotus-like

I have mixed feelings about the evora. On paper, it's good - a big Elise with 280ps.

Unfortunately it's also 1350kg, which means the power to weight ratio is 'just' 208 bhp/tonne. Not quite enough IMO.

When you look at what Lotus achieved with the Exige, you have to think that this is a bit 'vanilla'.

I agree, it's a little soft, but I'm sure it steers well.

Hmm good point re. the power to weight ratio - not exactly mind blowing. Looks a beautiful car though.

May have a point there Paul, but getting in and out of a Cayman in a skirt can be quite tricky............you should try it.

Oh yes, and the Ancient Mariner is THE main reason I failed my English Lit. 'O level - couldn't get my head around it at the age of 15/16.
