UPDATED: Shadowline trim done in Atlanta

****EDITED:

I found a vinyl shop in Atlanta (Smyrna) to do the shadowline trim for me. I decided to go with a gloss black. I took their matte black to my car, which is black sapphire, but didn't look as good. The gloss black they used turned out great, and it only cost $100 (for an e92), including labor. It only took a little more than an hour. They said an e90 would be maybe a little higher depending on the difficulty (which might be easier, I have no experience). The owner, Mark, is a nice guy and used to have a modded '06 M5.

Anyway, the relevant information to contact:
Adnormous Media
2600 Mathews St, Unit 200
Smyrna, GA, 30080

Tel: 770 333 2790
Fax: 770 333 2791
websales@adnormous.com

They know what they are doing as far as vinyl goes, but they are primarily into advertising. They said they wouldn't mind doing more if others on the forum wanted it done. I would contact them first to set up a time because if they are busy printing and wrapping, the $100 dollar job might not take as much priority.

I will post pics soon (the car needs a bath.....)

It didn't turn out well even though it was pre-cut? What problems did you run into?

wrapping around the sides of the trim proved to be more difficult than anticipated. Most of the trim went perfect and looked great, but there were at least 6/7 spots where I cut too close and had to go back to cover it up. I probably could have left it on and no one would notice, but I just really want it to look like "bimmer quality" haha.

It is seriously amazing how much it changed the entire look of the car! I have to get this done soon, hopefully I will find a place shortly!

I live in a loft so don't have a garage and it also was cold as hell outside which definitely didn't work to my advantage haha

So you're completely satisfied with the way the vinyl shop did it? I may be calling them soon myself!

sorry, just looked at the thread again....

Im satisfied. For $100 I couldn't be happier. It the first one they had done, so if you go, tell them to wrap the vinyl AROUND the trim. There are spots where you can see the chrome edges. You really wouldn't notice unless you were looking. I have been wanting the salt to get off the roads prior to cleaning up the car again, but I will post pics as soon as I can (and remember to post them).

You are more than welcome to come by and look, I can meet you anywhere. I just got JB3, so like driving around

I hope these pics are helpful, I am not a gifted photographer and just snapped a few while I was thinking of it...
