Yes. Mine are coated and are starting to rust. The O2 bungs are the super weak points. Makes me sick to think of the money spent on this crap that I'll have to toss away.

Thank you. I appreciate the input. I won't purchase downpipes from UR.

Hopefully another manufacturer will offer catted xi downpipes someday.

I am sure you can still buy the UR catted ones, just find a reputable shop to ceramic coat them for you, it looks as though the one UR used to coat them was some guy in his backyard with a spray can of the ceramic coating!!! lol

I ordered a set of AR catless DPs coated, and I could tell the quality was pretty nice....It was coated inside and out which would make me think that it was dipped into this mixture instead of sprayed on....I dunno

x2. We can have them blasted/coated for you. Not sure how long it will last since they already have started to rust. I do know the coatings we offer are top notch and EXTREMELY durable.

Andrew I got your Catted DPs, but forgot to specify coated. They are already on the car now, so its kind of too late. Anyway, will they rust? I hope not man.

jpsimon's are the only ones missing. Mine and the other fellow from Sweden are there. Salt and snow mixed in with me storing the car in the garage should take its toll this season. I'm sure the DPs with the coating will hold up, but I am sceptical about the O2 sensor bungs. Doing rotors tomorrow, so I'll snap a progress shot to compare from a few months back.
