LCI CSL trunk
honestly i would not recommend to buy it, unless you are "handy" . the fitment was terrible.. i had to use my dremel tool to fit the handle etc...
but seriously it was worth

actually only half of it was carbonfiber the "wing" is carbonfiber and the rest not.

but i think i would spend little more to buy a full carbon fiber one... but that doesn't mean im not happy with the result, i absolutely love it

yes i bought it from ebay for arount $600 (shipping included).
If you really want to buy it i would suggest to save a little and buy a full carbon fiber trunk.

i can make some pics of mine. the top of the trunk lid is "waved" because of the fiberglass and poor chinese job quality.
but with the full carbon i would never had that.

yep trunk cost me 600 + paint 300
taillights: ( my brother is in europe so he bought from european "ebay" the taillights from me and when i tested them one of them was broken, the leds did not turn on) so i had a set of good inner taillights and on ebay USA i found the outter for like $120
coding : free i started the job but cn555ic finished it for me ;D

total +/- 1000

AND A LOT OF PATIENCE TO TRIM the trunk.
there were no holes for the cover inside the trunk, the hole for the handle was to small, the one for the licence plate lights was too big, holes for the bmw logo was not accurate..

BUT I MADE IT AND IM VERY HAPPY

wow sounds awesome, and it looks like a great job, i'd be so err about thank trunk trimming worried about a false move, but i guess patience won the day for you. it really looks like a nice job though, congrats

Another thing with these trunks is that only the outer layer is Carbon Fiber. The rest is fiberglass. Also, wayvness can happen with carbon fiber as well. When I bolted in the trunk latch it wasn't latching properly and I slammed it a few times. It fractured where it was bolted in. Can't beat OEM. My goal is to get a CSL or Amuse style metal spoiler attached with welding or adhesive and filled to look like a one piece trunk.
