M3 replica side skirts fitment issues - Fark a duck

Hey guys, i bought M3 rep side skirts for my E92. Painted the things, just went to fit them, all was looking good until i tries clipping the skirt onto the skirt rail at the front (down near wheel arch). I have tried 10 different ways but they just will not clip on properly, its like the skirt must be made from shitty ass soft plastic and it will not clip on.
If i go to fit the bolts underneath the car it just pulls the side skirt off its clips at the front.
Has anyone had fitment issues with the M3 rep skirts from Mars performance or similar??
Ready to loose my bloody shizz (putting it lightly)

P.s, i noticed on you tube people are placing new clips on there sideskirt which were supplied with the kit, mine didn't have any?? Are these clips for the front or rear of the skirt?

Yes. I dont think i would have even noticed this issue with a trial fit anyway, its only when i start tightening up all the front bolts from underneath it pops the top of the side skirt off its clips.
Have you fitted these before?

Ive just figured out the issue. The skirts are hitting on the bracketry bolted to the car before it fully clips in. What a shit fit. I have to pull out the grinder and shave back about 5 spots its hitting on, now have 3 dints marks in my freshly painted skirts from trying to force them on. Dam freck

Still doesn't fit even after grinding the bracket that holds the front guard on. There must be 100's of people with this same issue.
Who else has the Mars Performance side skirts?

I have the side skirts from there and fitment is good but I got them like a year ago

Maybe bad batch as 2 of my mates that just installed them recently have the same problem

I've never heard anything but f**king problems with Mars Performance. I'm not sure how they're still operating in this day and age.

Have you tried to use a heat gun to help it bend into shape?

Im still working on it guys. Ive had to slowly angle grind all the brackets down and bolt heads, trial fit it like 50 times, think im almost there.
The issue with the Mars side skirts is they have huge concavity at the front of the side skirt. They look awesome, but the concave shape on the inside means that the side skirt then hits on the guards lower brackets really bad, unless you grind the shit outta everything like i am. I have taken a few photos along the way to show everyone what to look for, but i dont know how to rescale images as they are to large

That you Socket, best thing ive learnt this week is how to rescale pics!
So these pics were taken about half way through my journey with attacking the brackets, bolts, plastic etc with the angle grinder. In the pics you will see the 10mm bolts where i have had to cut them back a little, now they are completely cut back.
In the 1st pic i actually had to cut away that whole section!
I was not left with much by the end, while being careful not to cut away to much as this bracket etc holds the guard on, and also holds the side skirt in place.
These are the worst direct fit products i have ever put on a car. I must say, the side skirts do look amazingly "aggressive", but they are anything but "direct fit" "bolt on"

I wish i took pics of the final job, there was alot of material removed from all soughts of places.
On a positive note, here is a pic of my 17'' drag wheels i trial fitted a few days before. The 275's fit perfect, no scrubbing etc, recommend them to anyone hitting the strip

Ill be contacting them tomorrow Sock's. They were also missing the mounting clips, ive reused my original clips but its not quite sitting right, some spots are sticking out a few mm's, i think the correct clips will fix this. They will look good in the end but i dont know how they are still in business selling side skirts with suck a terrible fit without some major grinder work, in some places i had to cut back about 20mm's, that's out by sh#@tloads!

Yes, thats the 1st thing i did lol. They have better clearance than my 19's with 255's. Its a great offset that sits the wheels a bit further in.
Also the 275's fit on the 8.5'' rims alot better than i had thought mate, they are not to far off square, and with about 16-19psi at the drags they should contact the road well
