I'd imagine they did. Doubt they would have stayed conscious after a crash at that speed. Then the car burned up.
EDIT: I was curious so I looked it up. Driver climbed out of the car after the crash and pulled his passenger out before the car burst into flames. Driver was taken to the hospital in an ambulance but the passenger was airlifted with serious injuries. http://www.carthrottle.com/post/watc...hes-at-200mph/

Flip! Looks like the car lifted.
I had to visit the hospital last week and I'm always worried I'll come back to my 335 with a massive dent where someone has decided to slam their door into my car. Or a big scratch from some keys. It's always a bitch finding a space where the doors on the 335 aren't too big to even get out. I probably wasn't as concerned about my car as this guy is. |
