my suggestion is to do coilovers because of the adjustments (height, compression, rebound) this way you can do the rims later and fine tune the ride you want to have (stiff or comfort would say from experience in the business i would have to say that 75% of people that buy just springs end up buying coilovers anyway

Coilovers are probably your best bet....

Like Del Said they are extremely adjustable.

If you decide to drop with springs, you have to change out the shocks to do it the right way.

Hmm, I'm gonna be the only guy here to say I prefer a spring/shock combo over a coilover system for the street. Most people I know with coilovers on street-driven cars hardly ever adjust the ride height. Most of them complain of knocking noises and rust issues also. The true advantage to coil-overs is the ability to corner-balance the car, for the track. Aside from height/corner-balance adjustments, a regular spring shock combo does the same thing. Most performance shocks offer adjustments for compression and rebound.

No, because I agree with you for the exact reasons you gave.

Coilovers are completely unnecessary for street use. Not to mention most people set them incorrectly by slamming them as far down as possible.
