dead pixel and warranty?

Is it possible to take my car in with a dead pixel for warranty?

Just curious my friend with his e46 got it done, and I was wondering if anyone has gone and taken it in for this

I know im being super picky but there are a few and it bothering the crap out of me lol

I think that BMW has a specific number of dead pixels established before replacing a monitor thru warranty. Double check with your dealer as I don't think that a single pixel will be enough for a complete replacement... however, you never know if the dealer does not even know about this rule.

cool, im going to call my guy who have been helping me out. its just so annoying cause its right in the middle of the screen and there is like 3 haha and one that is right by where it say DTC activated or whatever lol
