What? I got $3 knocked off my ticket on the spot for being a smart ass to the cop.
"So I'm getting a ticket even though my front plate is in the windshield in clear view but not on or near my front bumper."
"That's correct"
"I thought I was doing you guys a favor by bringing it closer to eye level, sorry."

That's how to drop a $56 ticket to a $53 ticket. lol

Word for word he said it needs to be on or near the front bumper to be legal. I still call bullshit but whatever. I'm running my euro plate still and have no problem flipping DPD the bird if they give me a dirty look.

Matt, I went to the city of Denver and lied to them lol. I told the guy that someone had just recently stole my license plate bracket and that I was waiting for my next paycheck to buy a replacement

I was gonna pay the $75 but I thought I'd give it a try and give them a hard time. I'm not complaning or anything, but I think that their system is a little messed up. I told the guy that someone stole my license plate bracket and that I didn't have enough money to buy a replacement until my next paycheck. If it was up to me (speaking ethically), I'd give me a little more time until I get paid and waive the fine. Then, if I still don't have the front plate after the given deadline, I'd have to pay the fine. I mean, it's not my fault that someone stole the bracket.

Does the euro plate have the same license plate # as your rear plate? I thought about doing that, but we will see. Id still get a ticket for it.

I just think its lame they pick on us BMW drivers, and other higher-end cars. I see lots of cars without front plates but they know we have more $$$ per se and are more likely to pay it and get money from us. At least, thats my thoughts on why this happens to us more.

Pick on BMW drivers... are you on drugs David?

Colorado state law states that if you are issued 2 plates, you have to use 2 plates and yes there is a maximum height for the plate so in the windscreen isn't gonna cut it.

If you want to have a clean front, then you could potentially pay the fine if you are sited. Simple as that, you guys aren't getting picked on because you drive BMW's... That's just comical.

But according to a friend of mine they are there for my safety and I should be grateful to them and kiss their alpha sierra sierra every time i see one.

Just be glad you didn't receive a beat down like countless other unfortunate people who've had to deal with the Denver gestapo.

Take a chill pill, guys
I simply made this thread to just inform you all that were not aware. Obviously, I was the only that was not aware of the Denver cops.

Let's move on...BOOBIES!

hey, alpine spoke his mind I spoke mine... It's all fine. He's been wanting to tell me that for some time now, I just struck the right nerve tonight to provoke it.

No harm no foul from my end.

I've got nothing against you Matt. I just don't understand why you get your jollies trying to provoke me. Bringing up my issues with BMWCCA is just rude and unnecessary. That's all behind me now and I don't intend on discussing it anymore. Is that fair?

It's fair. I won't bring it up again. But telling someone to fuck off is certainly just as rude so I guess we are both at fault.

No biggie on my end. I won't bust your chops anymore.
