Thumbs up Feeler - 320D M Sport saloon sale?

Currently thinking of trading in my 320D M Sport manual saloon (177bhp), 57 reg, 37,000 miles, sparkling graphite, 18 inch Star Spoke wheels, blacklines, full BMW service history etc. Serviced and MOT'd Nov 2010. Excellent condition aside from some wheel curbing due to wife's driving (you don't read this, do you, love?). Also has had CDV replaced, and 'blackline' rear light housings fitted.

Have been told what it's worth on part-ex and looked through AutoTrader. Would like to know what forum members reckon it's worth, or maybe would like to buy it for?

Parkers guide says £14,300 private sale. saying that i bought mine from the stealers at £15,500 last march with 33,000 miles which i thought was a good deal.

Tell you what though i have 17" msport wheels which are perfect condition no kerbing, i'll swap for your wife battered 18"

I doubt I'd wantto do that, but it does raise an interesting point: if selling to BMW, would you be better with kerbed 18 inchers, or pristine 17's?

You know it probably wouldn't matter to them, or maybe it would. maybe someone who has some experience on their marking system when trading in a car could help out.

Well, yes, I am currently thinking of part-exchanging my 320d. I would consider a private sale, though.

Apologies to both people who have enquired. I am probably going to part-ex my 320d. So it is technically "for sale" but only if I don't get a satisfactory part-ex for it.

All the relevant details are in teh first post. Don't have any photos handy, but it looks like any other standard E90 Sparkling Graphite saloon, except with blacklines and kerbed wheels!

Sorry, part-exchanged it on Monday. To be honest, there was quite a bit of wear and tear on it anyway - it needed new tyres etc.

Would you split and sell blacklines separately?
