BMW Friendly shop!

Found a great local shop that is BMW friendly with great prices! Akiki & Sons in Hyde Park. They are installing my Dinan Springs after calling around getting quotes from 900-700 they did much better! Also they are blacking out my lower mesh grills. I'm so excited to get the car back looking low and mean!

Some pics

Here are some pics of the car lowered on Dinan Springs and Painted Lower Mesh Grills. I also installed Black Kidney Grills and Painted reflectors. Today I am dropping her back off at Akiki & Sons for my 7' VRSF FMIC install!!!!

Throw me some feedback and suggestions. Car is new to me 2 months ago and I know it has a long way to go.

Looks nice and clean. Intercooler really helps you getting heat soaked. The stock IC with a tune heat soaks quick.

I would suggest moving the license plate to the toe hook. Looks cleaner imo. Are you an auto? Get those downpipes on as soon as possible after you are FBO protune that bish

Thanks man. Wish I could just get rid of the damn plate and holder!

I will most likely do Downpipes the end of this month and get Valves cleaned as well. Then its ProTune for sure!

Runs 4.4 0-60 on stock everything and Cobb Stage 1.....Really wanna be in the 3's!

Just got the car back from Akiki & Sons with an alignment as the springs have settled and got my 7" VRSF inter-cooler installed. She looks pretty! I also changed to Map Stage 1+FMIC aggressive ST and wow I feel a huge difference. Only worry now is that I will blow my stock charge pipe. Should that be next on install list? I also plan to do a walnut blast and new plugs soon.

I would do downpipes my stock charge pipe is fine on 18psi, I know it will not be forever but for now it's fine. Same with my DVs not leaking. I'm a big fan of not replacing parts until needed. You can always buy the DPs and CP from VRSF at the same time.

Just get BMS dual cone intakes. Like $95. When you do DP you will instantly feel the performance gains.

I'm less than half of $700-$900 springs and alignment. That price is like $300 a hour! Lol. I don't understand how some shops take so long. I'm not rushing, I'm very thorough and it's always under 3 hours for a springs shocks struts install.

I need to get my suspension installed but not too sure where to go. I gave Akiki a call, but they can't schedule me any earlier than Tuesday. Are there any shops that are open over the weekends?

Will do. I'll try to give them a call in the morning and hopefully get my car squared away.
Thanks!

So I called them this morning and the lady I spoke to told me to bring it in because they were pretty open today. Drove down from wakefield, and when I got here, a lady asks if she could help me. I asked if they would be able to work on my car and before she even asked me any other questions, she said they were booked for the day.

I told her I called and was told to come, so she asked me who I spoke with, and of course I didn't get a name. So I thanked her and left.

Went back a couple minutes later to see how long it would take for someone to look at the car. She asked me what kind of BMW it was, when I never mentioned the car, so it was obviously her I spoke to on the phone.

She told me I wouldn't need an appointment, but I just wasted 2 hours driving here and back. So yea, not going to come back.
