e91 330d m sport (lci) winter wheel options

looking to get some winter wheels/tyres on my 330 - happy to go down to 17" inch and don't mind losing staggered set up so considering 158 style alloys with 225/45/17 all round. I keep reading about problems with larger brakes so does anybody know if this set up will be OK? also what are my options with spacers as don't want them sitting too far in to the arch and thought maybe 10mm on front and 15mm rear?

I've got a set of Momo winter wheels with Michelin Aplin tires. I believe the wheels are 16". So, they may be smaller than you'd want/need. They fit great on an E91.

I wondered if he might be outside the US. My guess was gonna be Australia when I saw "West Midlands"
