Great interior color, don't see that as much on the e90s. Looking forward to Msport kit photos...

I hate seeing e90's with chestnut brown leather.

Because I'm angry I didn't get it on mine! I didn't know it would be more reddish than brown at the time of ordering.

I finally got my NEW car back tonight from the bodyshop after three long weeks. I purchased the OEM Euro M-Tech retrofit kit from BMW. It took Two weeks for the kit to arrive from Germany. When I saw the car sitting at the dealership waiting for me it was like buying a new car all over.

I couldn't take pictures because it was too dark. Will post them in the next couple of days. All I can say is amazing!

This will replace the front, side and rear of the car. The beauty of the European M-Tech is that their front bumpers do not have those butt ugly side reflectors!

I have put on spacers since these pics were taken. 15mm on the backs and 12mm on the front with the stock, staggered 18 wheel set up for now. When these tires go, which may be soon, I will likely replace them with non-RFT's but will likely stay with 18's as I like the clean look of these rims for now.

As for springs, I am undecided on this one. I have heard that springs will lower the car a little further but have issues with ride quality and can prematurely wear the shocks. I was thinking of holding out for KW V1's but since I live in Canada, I am concerned about the winters and the liquid salt they use of the roads now. I was thinking of upgrading the the BMW performance springs. Any thoughts on what to do here?

I will post some "after" pics in a couple of weeks once I get my car back.

Much appreciated.
Congrats on receiving your car back. I sure it looks stunning!!! The tont recommendation was based on comments from people that suggested I should show off my interior, specially coming from older car folks that told me silver/red was a classic color combo for german cars. Think about it, I think it will look very clean with the M-Package. In my case, I never got around to remove my tints prior to parting with the car.

Concerning springs, i would go with the bMW springs depending on your road conditions and use of your car. If you want to track it, defenitrly go with the KWs.

Very interested in seeing your car with the spacers since I just purchased a 2009 E90 335i LCI, M-Package, 6spd, space gray with black dakota leather, wod trim , w IDrive. I already installed the BMW Performance Shifter...Absolutely love it!

Once again, congrats on your new mods and looking forward to your pictures!!!

Here are some initial pics taken today. The car has not been washed and I didn't have the right camera or time to do it justice. In a few weeks, I will take some serious pic's.....

I bought it as part of the OEM retrofit kit from BMW. Interesting to note that the best price I got on this was from a local dealership and not any of the online BMW part stores.

Sounds great! LSD is well worth it even for street-only use.

I think he said he used 15mm on the backs and 12mm on the front.

I was just looking at the before and after pics, and let me tell you that the spacers really make a difference, specially for me that I'm looking to do subtle mods that will enhance the OEM look of my car. I will definitely will look into getting some soon.

You are correct in that I have 15mm spacers on the back and 12mm spacers on the front. My tires are the stock 18" staggered setup. It makes a huge difference. I would do this before you start tinkering with the suspension. One of the most cost effective upgrades. Just be sure to by high quality spacers and bolts or you may run into trouble with warping and other quality control issues.

er, yeah I didn't read up far enough. I see it now. but thanks for mentioning it again. my KW V1's are still settling, but it's clear spacers are needed.

You have a great set of Coilovers in KW. I have the Clubsport on my M3. Since I don't track my 335(it's more of a dd for me) an I do track my M3 I am not sure if I will tweak my suspension as yet. I would like to try out Dinan's kit as I have a few friends who have it and it handles very well.
