Oil change?

What kind of oil do i need for a 328xi? also how much of it?

I dont have warranty so im wondering,

should I have the dealership do the oil change, or it would be much cheaper to purchase the oil at the dealer and change it myself?

Cheaper if you do it yourself... there are some change DIY in the DIY section... also, getbmwparts.com has oil change kits for a decent price...

Search the site for the oil change kit...

Most dealers will charge around $100 or so - if you specify only the oil/filter change and no other service. Or you can get a DIY kit from Tischer BMW (7 quarts of BMW 5w30 synthetic + filter) for $69 including shipping.
