differential oil

Guys i was wondering if i put a higher viscosity oil in the diff rather than the 75w-90. I was going to go with 75w- 140 any harm in doing so?

75w-90 is the correct viscosity, use it. Any harm in using a different viscosity than the one intended for your diff? Mechanically, probably not, but you may hear noise, feel slippage, etc, etc. Then you have to go back and dump out the oil you bought and start over again. Then you will feel, well, you know...
