Just wait till this newest debt-driven all-assets bubble really pops and we restart the vicious cycle off selling everything to pay the debts off again. This is going to be worse than the 2008 crisis. Of course anyone with lots of cash to burn will be able to pick up whatever they want when the big sell-off picks up speed.

I got a ridiculous used car loan back in November. I have NEVER heard of an unsecured loan on ANY car much less a used one. And the rate was only 1.7%. Insanity. It reminded me of when I refinanced our house in 2004 and the bank was trying to shove $40k more down our throats than we were asking for. I was like "huh?" Three years later the light bulb went on. I'll be ready with cash this time....

Obviously we all saw the video with the BMWs being crushed, by BMW..... I agree, mine's getting an antique plate put on at 25 y.o., as I'm the original owner... |

You would have refi'd since '04 obviously? Never take cash out imho that's exactly how they like to sell refis. Let us roll the title insurance in, and the fees, give you more money out, and give you a lower payment. Um, yeah, but I was supposed to have my house paid off 2017, and now it's 2030 lightbulb: banks don't want us to pay off our debt, they want to service our debt |

I had the same issue getting rid of my fully loaded 2001 330i a few years ago. KBB was $5000 to $7000. I listed for $4700 for a quick sale because I just already purchased my 2011 335i xDrive
Dude I had so many low ball offers even with the price already below KBB! Some as low as $500! It was mainly teenagers bringing parents to see the car and I spent a lot of time watching these kids begging their parents to buy it for them BUT the parents were either worried about safety or trying to haggle the price down to ludicrously low figures because they really didn't want to buy their 16 year old kid a 16 year old BMW 3 series! I would never again sell a car privately! I would rather take the financial loss at trade in than deal with the endless low ballers and tire kickers who come to buy your car. NEVER AGAIN! My car was mint with all the trimmings; navigation/bluetooth/lifetime SiriusXM/xenons/foglamps/power rear shade/new tires/all books and keys/all service records/HK sound/compass homelink mirror/Steward 5HP+ water pump/electric fan/etc...see pics below

2.85% is good, I'm at 3.37%, but it was a true no-fee since it's not a mortgage, called a 10 yr. first lien position home equity, no title insurance, only a $67.50 county fee to dispose of. Like 6 yrs. left and I can't wait. If wifey has her way, we go back up to 30 yrs. and a McMansion, I dunno, maybe....buddy says overrated (living in a McMansion)....rather live modestly and have no house or car payments except school and prop taxes...

Probably the best maintained E90 in the area.

Yeah and the only thing I need to do for the dipstip to work is replace the engine. I don't care how well maintained it is I can't see anyone giving more than 2-4k for that car.
