Question JB2 issue still unresolved...

Had the jb2 taken out and is at bmw as i type this. They called me and said theres a problem with the cars computer..btw my car is a 08' 335i sedan. Anyway the sales rep said they need to drive the car and 'investigate' for further diagnosis..kinda scary. I am almost certain it is a wiring problem, if so, will this void my warranty? or do they have to find some sort of hard evidence that there has been a chip such as the chip itself?

Man I hope its not a wire...I told u to relax and retrace your steps and not to bring the car in before you really had no choice...If it is a wire, I think u need to speak to the SA and get him to get a tech together and hit them off with some MONEY$$$$$$....

I bet I know exactly what it is.
You forgot to put the vacuum tubes back to stock.
When using a JB2, you need to bypass the rear solenoid.
This has happened before.

If what I say is true then you're kind of screwed.
the only reason to bypass the solenoids is because of putting in a tune.

True, the solenoid bypass tends to get overlooked when uninstalling JB2; luckily I caught it when I was installing JB3.

Running a JB2 on an 08? Wouldnt that mean he could also have DME V81 and tripping the code for a tune?

Better start thinking of a VERY good reason/excuse as to why those wires would be crossed.
Maybe something along the lines of you lent your car to a mechanic friend for a week, and am not sure what he might of tried to do, but you never messed with the car at all.
The dealership and SA "MAY" believe that and fix the crossed wire and let it fly. But you better be damn good at lying and have a very understanding/gullible SA.

PnP upgrade a couple hundred bucks. Voided BMW powertrain warranty potentially thousands of dollars. Triple checking wiring job and test driving well before you take car into dealer, priceless!

now you just need to change your screen name from yeefoo335 to youfool335

Better make it a couple bills each.

And the time would of been when they told you that they needed to "investigate further".
Your response should of been something like, "well in your investigation, if you find something that is not right because of human error, if your investigation stops at that point and the "issue" fixed without incident, your final investigation will lead you to a couple green Benjamin's in your pocket."
