My E90 interior LED light problem
I just installed LED interior light for my E90 330i.
However the dome light and the reading light (Front and back) didn't work great while the engine started. When I turn the engine on, and I turn the light on, it only last for 5-10 sec and goes off. What can I do for that? It is a common problem for all E90? Thanks! |

Only common on some kits with generic LED. You need the high quality Canbus stuff.
If you want a kit that works I have your answer. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=597024 Here is the kit we offer. If you dont want the full kit you can purchase individual pieces directly from the company. http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/bmwe90e92buy.html Sounds like you just want the domelights and map lights that work. |

It's because the LEDs draw less current than a normal halogen bulb. The car thinks the bulb is out and will shut the circuit down.
You can add a load resistor so it works with no errors but you'll find it hard to find one that will fit in that area and not get hot. |
