This has been in development with a team of engineers and designers for over 3 months... and now its time to announce the product, as I am only moments away from ordering the first production batch! (which takes only 4-6 weeks to be made!)

I was looking for a way to integrate a boost gauge into the 335 interior with the following goals.

- No cutting, no perminent modifications.
- Plug and play harness
- CUSTOM firmware specifically for 335 and custom dimmer circuit
- Discreet, Hidden, and INVISIBLE TO SOMEONE NOT LOOKING FOR IT
- Not a "round peg in a square hole"
- protected from condensation.

just straight, because I didnt want to have to hack up the internals, since the current design allows for no cutting, and complete reversablility.

EDIT: actually, its not straight, its slightly towards the driver, because the molded protective foam rubber on the insde that re-directs airflow away from the gauge and protects from heat/cold/condensation.

Rix that looks absolutely fantastic! I like the integrated look so much better on this design and I am very much looking forward this upgrade soon!

On a side note, can we purchase another vent so we would still have the vent control and do whatever hack was needed to the spare unit?

the control to open and close the vent still works, but you can give that a try if you want, it would probably be possible... I am just not looking to have to buy OEM parts.

yeah in the winter time if you have heat going into the vent would it mess up the guage especially when u have it turn to hot? How much of a rebate for the original ipod and guage OP's like myself?? #6 on your original list!!!

Its fully insulated with custom foam rubber.

Find me a process to flash the iDrive, the source for the iDrive software, a development environment, and the applicable compiler then I'll get right on it....

however, in the meantime RiX's new boost gauge is perfect!
