Running both tunes? Possible
So I'm about to switch form a JB3 to a PROcede... JB3 on the sale boards, procede in the mail
I was wondering, becuase both tunes bypass when they are in valet or map0, would it be possible to hook up both tunes to the ecu and only turn one on at a time to do a quick back to back comparison? Potential issues? Stupid idea to begin with? Anyone done this?

If each tune is truly bypassed though... and I am sure only one tune is on at a time - should be no issue... I'd like to take it to the drag strip and run back to back runs with each tune, but it wont have any adaptation time either.. which could be an issue.

I could be wrong with but when both tunes are in "bypass" mode, its not 100% fully bypassed.
Plus you would have to come up with some super rigged up harness to be able to plug in both tunes at the same time. Not worth it. Just install the Procede and forget about the rest Alan

The install would be easy... each coupler just goes inbetween the DME and the car's harness - it would just be adding one more link between each connection. You guys are right though... WTF would I do this when I know I'm going to be ditching the JB3 anyways...
I thought it might be interesting, but I'm thinking now that even in valet mode the procede still has the O2 sim function so who knows what else is is actually being modified...

PROcede FTW. I mean, name all the tunes out there that listen to all of our input and come out with sick features like every month... *crickets* *crickets* EXACTLY.

True - now find someone to buy my JB3 - it's been sitting on the for sale forums for a few days now!

Not to stack up tunes and try and run both, simply so I can do a back to back comparison quickly. If I could go to the track, and do back to back runs with both tunes, it would eliminate a bunch of variables because it would be the same day, same temp, same humidity, same track condition. blah blah blah.

stack the tunes. you can actually activate both at the same time. it'll be the ultimate tune.
1. Turn on JB3 to map 7. 2. Turn on Procede with auto-tune. 3. You now have a JB tuned car with timing control.
