Yes I am tapping into the correct wires. Like I said, the sim will work for a couple days, however the car will soon trigger this 2c31 code which will cause a SES light after 2 events.

With the Sims removed, the 2C31 code never returns. If I had bad O2 sensors I would think I would continue to get the 2c31 code with the Sim removed, but the only time I see this code is with the Sims installed.

Less resistance might help. My BMS sims did the same thing occasionally and my Rev2 did the same until I switched it to 77% or so. That didn't make it any better until I switched it to around 83%. No problems yet. I'm assuming that extrapolating that result to a bms sim would mean less resistance.

With the sims removed, I do not throw a 2C31 code, but will throw a 29F4 and 29F5 for no cats. For some reason the Sims cause this 2C31 code. I know of another owner having the same exact issue.

Any ideas or a recommended combination of resistors I should try (Shiv...help).

Thanks

im having the same problem!!
any luck resolving this?

I don't know that it'll make any bit of a diff, but I wired my RR O2 SIM to the OEM subconnectors pins, not through my tune (Procede V3).

I followed the RR O2 SIM instructions.

I will have fix for you guys soon. Currently at jfk airport but once i get back later tonight, I plan on logging a lot of test miles over the next few days. And will release an update shortly..

There is a reason that wire-in bms/riss/etc,. o2 sims (and the current procede o2 modifier feature) isn't working in some cars. And I'd venture to say that even when they are working, they aren't really working as wanted. The BMW dme is way more finicky in rear o2 performance than anything other dme i've ever seen.

Any solution to this yet? I too have a 09 build and am concerned about the 02 sim issue. I really want the downpipes, but dont want the codes...The manufacturers of downpipes are aware of the issue and realize it is problematic but so far I haven't heard of any solution...this seems to be affecting owners who have the latest bmw software (which unfortunately I have)

Im having the same problems lately, the bms O2 fix worked fine for like a month and now it keeps throwing 2C31 and 2C32 codes, I keep clearing them but they keep coming back...
I took the O2 fix out tonight and Im going to check and see if it comes back...

Im wondering if anybody has found a fix for it besides tweeking the percentage on the procede tune for those of us running JB3....so anybody?

Release some kind of stand alone unit that is compatible w/ (dare I say it), and you have a customer!

My car is tuned with a flash I also run catless DP with 02 sims. If I upgrade to the latest version 35.4 and flash the car again after the upgrade will I get any problems with car throwing codes?

I was recently upgraded to the latest stock file 2.35.4 and am getting flashed back to giac stage 1 tomorrow and installing BMS o2 sims. I will report if my SES light and codes (29F4, 29F5) come back.

It "shouldn't" be a problem with hard wired O2sims as I guess you are using. The ECU will trow a code if the downstrem O2 sensors reports out-of-normal-value for a car with catted DP's, which it will do without O2 sims on a uncatted engine. The O2 sensor report is simply adjusted by O2 sims to fall within approved values.

But, there may be other identifiers in the new software that not is handled by the VTECH flash, check with them if they can guaratee compability with their tune vs. 35.4.
