OBD-II Reader for both E92 and E46

All,
I am receiving a check-engine light warning on my E46. Not sure what the problem is but so far, the car still drives the same, and the light is not flashing.

I'd like to purchase an OBD-II reader that is compatible with both the E92 and the E46.

Any suggestions out there?

Just go look on eBay. The brands don't really matter much, they will give you the code, that is the importance of an OBD2 reader.

I bought a generic one from eBay for my last car for $50 and it worked great.
