Built in Bluetooth Mic

Anyone else have issues with their bluetooth mic when using it with an iPhone and Siri or dictation? I find it really fails hard at properly picking up my voice.

Anyone have a solution or every replace the built in mic with a better/higher quality mic?

Only problem mine has understanding my commands is if I don't pause a couple seconds after it asks you questions. Try pausing a little before you speak.

For phone calls, I have zero issues.

But I don't use the voice recognition feature on my iDrive because I have no idea what commands it can accept nor what functions I can control via voice.

totally agree, I just use the "CD" and "FM" command

This hasn't really got anything to do with built in voice commands for the car...So I'm a bit confused why that was even brought up.

I specifically brought up a phone paired via the car's built in bluetooth and giving the phone commands or dictating. I don't seem to have any issues with the mic when I'm calling someone and just using the handsfree, they can always hear me fine...but the use of Siri is pretty bad.

You should get a windows phone, Cortana works perfectly in my car and has ease with full sentence text message recognition.

This is really the only issue I have with Siri.
