NewCCA HPDE
Newbie to HPDE. Considering attending the BMWCCA HPDE at Willow Springs. I have a 2008 E91 with 170,000 miles. Equipped with factory sport package/suspension, cool carbon pads, and Hankook V12 on Apex rims. Any advice beyond what is covered in the HPDE FAQs?

Bring what you got and enjoy the event. The various FAQs cover pretty much everything. The only think I can stress for a first timer is flush the brake fluid with some fresh higher temp stuff. ATE Type 200 and Motul RBF 600 are the most commonly recommended.

A buddy of mine has an '08 328xi E91 with KW V1 and Apex wheels as well. He changed the brake fluid, but ran stock pads. In two days of tracking, he went through a set of pads! He had a blast.
