Weird JB+ Behavior

My car has been long cranking for a little while now, but i still havent gotten a limp mode. i just put my JB+ back in after 8000 miles of driving without it. and now i get long cranks every time i start the car and the cranks are lloooonnggg, not just a little longer than normal than before.

is my JB+ faulty or does my car really just hate that JB+?

It's probably your HPFP going, and the JB+ is only aggravating the problem further. Take it in to your dealer.

I agree with the others about the fuel pump.Classic symptoms of it on its way out.I doubt if the JB has anything to do with it.Take it out and see what happens.I,m sure it will still have long cranks. Then take it in to the dealer. Good luck.

A few weeks ago I got a service engine soon light, but have a 1/2 engine light, when it started first a few times.
After a few days it was only the service engine soon light.
I took off the JB+, which had been in for several months at 3/4 setting.
( I have original software)
Had a BT scan, showing a, misfire in cyl 3, 02 sensor issue and something with the HPFP.
Although, NO HIDDEN CODES for a tune.
Took it into the dealer and he told me I will need a HPFP, after doing their inspection.
They later called me and told me my car was done, but they did not replace the HPFP, as they found it was only a sticking O2 sensor, causing the reads.
Go figure!
The pump will finally go at sometime, probably when I'm on the road, away somewhere!!!
Put back the JB+ an 1/2.
Finally, now when I start the car, cold, I do see it takes a couple more cranks to fire up.

it was just at the dealer but they said that even though they could see it was long cranking they couldnt do anything until a code was thrown.
