Anybody got a good word to say about Dartford?
Went there today to pick-up a parcel.
Oh! what a dump! Thought towns like that were up the NE or NW!
It had of course a lustrous past. In the area was Fraser & Chalmers, Vickers: J & E Hall and not forgetting the Dartford Warbler! All now long gone!

Anybody got a good word?

It's a fackin dump. Tilbury town is worse.

Another place which is not nice is Basildump.

Sorry rogerxd, did'nt mean to offend those living in the NE & NW, but it's just that down here, there is a notion that above the Watford Gap things tend to go downhill a little.

But it's not so. There are certainly depressed areas down South, which are not usually shown on TV & the newspapers. I would say mostly along the Thames estuary.

But for political reasons, no doubt, there will not be much cash available for regeneration down South! We have it soooo good!

Don't worry, there plenty of places around the NW far worst than Dartford mate.
