Fog Light Housing Replacement
Hey everyone,
I've been planning on replacing the fog light housings on my 08 E92 335xi (non M-sport) and have been looking at a few options online. I've been toying with the idea of smoked or yellow housings, as I've run yellow tint over my stock ones for a while. The OEM replacements on Turner motorsport are roughly $130 altogether: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-4...peconvertible/ There are some sets of ZIZA brand replacements at $80 a pair on ECSTuning, but have no reviews or photos: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ziza-par...853ziz01a~ziz/ There are very cheap housings sold by "Winjet" on Amazon ($63 for a pair) with no reviews: http://a.co/ilceQxG Does anyone here have experience with buying replacement fog housings? I would love to go with the ZIZA or Winjet options if they're decent quality since $130 for some lenses and plastic housing seem kinda ridiculous. Thanks in advance! |

Nope but
I was hoping to swap the shitty OEM ones out for something offering better visibility. I did this with my Legacy GT (previous car), replaced with some european hellas, and the difference was astounding. I am hoping there is something equivalent for my E92.

Is it because the lenses have oxidized? If so, it may only take a little polish and a power tool to clean up. I had a detailer do the headlights and fogs but will DIY next time.

the ones that came with the car (on mine) were pitted and oxidized beyond repair. Ended up replacing them with a new set of ZKW's. Looks so much better. Was thinking about those cheap $30 ones on eBay but didn't want to deal with leaks/condensation, etc...
