Sorry guys, I'm a newbie with these blackline tail lights and just have a few questions. Hope anyone could help.

I do not have a rear fog light switch on my car. Do blackline tail lights come with rear fog lights similar to the euro spec lights? Also, if I install the blackline tail lights, could I change my interior light switch to one that has a rear fog light switch so I can use the rear fog lights? Thanks!

Both the standard and blackline tail lights include rear fog lights (they are the same lights as adaptive brake lights). The euro light switch is required to activate the fogs in either version of the tailights.

The DIY for the switch, including part number, is available here:

I have blacklines and euro light switch on my car.

Any one able to post pics of blacklines on a Monaco blue sedan?

I am sure it would look great but I have not seen that combination yet.

Thanks.

Nice write up. I have installed factory blacklines out the dealership the day of delievery. But I have a small problem I just noticed today. I also heared this being mentioned somewhere around here before.

Why does the right side look a bit more dimmer looking at both sides from the back.

Has anyone noticed that before and If so. What is the sulution.

Blackines are now on the car and they look fantastic. I never liked the original taillights... and now I love the car from every angle.

Great beginner mod.

I didn't really care much for the blacklines at first... I thought the all red lenses were a really nice contrast to the bright blue color of my car. Now, I really love the blacklines and think they should be the next thing I get! After seeing them on other E90's in my area and the pictures of them here, I really like them and how they change the overall look of the back of the car. Not only do they look much better, but the simple fact that they look different is also a reason that I like them.

I see that they're sold through a lot of different vendors on the internet, but I inquired at Morristown BMW and got this reply. I think I'll use them because they have a very good price and the fact that it's a BMW service center gives me a little more piece of mind.

An e-mail response I got from Morristown BMW:

"WHOLESALEPARTS@BMWMORRISTOWN.COM"
The black lines are $225.00 plus $15 shipping. Let me know if you would like to place an order.

Damn inflation... your car must look pretty nice. The alpine white really looks nice with those blacklines, window tint, and some headlight upgrades. It looks like you've done some serious headlight upgrading in the last day or two from that other post you made stating you've got new Xenons to go with your inner high-beam axillary lights, side markers, LUX-4, and now the gold fogs. Got the mod bug or what?

Great beginner mod.
I would have to disagree. On some colors in particular. Black at times. The original taillights look awsome. Also on RED colour car. There is no place for blacklines in my opinion.

That being said. I have BLACKLINES on my BLK E90
