going away on my xmas holidays in the beemer, might need extra storage. How much are the genuine roof bars?

Save your money and buy a Thule roof kit. They do normal black bars and aero bars in alluminium. Just the same as OEM and I am guessing a lot cheaper.

BMW ones are £125 plus any discount you can haggle. Thule are about the same price for the Alu Aero bars which are equivalent.

Try fleabay for about £50 used.

looks like a bagged a bargain, just won some genuine BMW ones on ebay £70

You "end up with" things by paying more for them than anyone else wanted to.

lol yeah your right, mind you so far, I have had nothing but luck on ebay. As long as you check feedback and do research you are OK. I have saved myself loads, bought and sold loads and had a lot of fun.
