BMW 4 series...

what's the point? exactly What sort of market is the new 4 series targeted at? what will people find in a 4 series, that they couldn't in a 3 or 5 series? Is the car really entering a 'niche' market or are BMW just upping the ante in sales wars with rival manufacturers?

I thought they weren't making a 3 series coupe this time round to compete with audi's numbering game.

Instead its now the 4 series.

I would buy it, i like coupes

Yup, my understanding is that this is simply the new E92, as has been said, closer matches the Audi style of badging. I think it looks great.

Vaheed, please try to keep up.

I don't usually like the coupe. But that does look good.

This might be a bit too obvious, but I'm guessing it's aimed at those amongst us who like coupés .

But why the whole rebranding strategy? What's wrong with just a 3 coupe?

Either way, I agree, it's nice.

I know alot of people like it, and i know it will sell by the bucket load. But it looks pretty wank to be honest. Especially that rear end.

However i can get over all the di*k milk fairy lights and stupidly low profile rubber if it actually drives well.

Its not about being controversial. We have all the tech and gadgets we want around the home, on our mobiles and at work. I dont want F*cking internet connections and other tech wizadry in my car. I am happy in something different, something analogue something real.

* Not something that most probably will pump in a synthesized engine note into the cabin via the hifi.

Give me this.

Ill take two.
