Exclamation Need Help Buying a 335i

Hey guys, sorry if I sound like a newbie which I am, I am planning on buying a 08 bmw 335i coupe and I am getting the PPI done from Niello BMW Sacramento and I was wondering what would be a red flag on getting the car? the car has 96k miles on it and has a clean carfax report. I know that there are several threads on this certain topic but I could not find a proper answer that would help me with my problem.

Glad to help, but what exactly is your problem that you couldn't find an answer to? Because there are 194974394728304974094 threads on buyers guides for N54's...

Read the threads listed by sirdaft1, and if you still can't find the answer you're looking for, try and describe the problem you're having. Help us help you!

EDIT: Having said that, if the car doesn't have a full service history, then you're buying into a mileage grey area where a lot of things that have probably been replaced already @ 60k miles (oil pan, oil filter, or valve cover gaskets, water pump and thermostat, fuel pump, walnut blasting valves) are probably getting close to needing to be replaced again. Some of the things, such as the gaskets, are relatively easy to check. The water pump, thermostat, or fuel pump, on the other hand, will work fine until they fail (or will cause intermittent problems that a PPI likely won't detect).

Depending on how the PPI goes, you should plan to set aside $1k or so in case any of these thing should fail. The first link posted by sirdaft1 has a pretty good rundown of the costs associated with each item.

Good luck, and feel free to shoot me a message if you need rotors or pads

the real issue is that it's not a cabrio!!!!!!!!! with the the hard top, no reason to buy a coupe unless you're tracking it or live in Alaska...
