Member of this forum for 8 years and 2 335i(s). I need your help. I currently drive a Subaru outback, since I had to sell my last 335i to relocate to Northern Virginia. I'm looking to buy a 335is this weekend, and I need a referral. The car is out of warranty, and is an IS (I don't think turbos have extended warranty since those are N54 11-13] so I want someone that can come with me to the dealer and do a PPI. The car is in Northern Virginia, where I live. Please recommend someone. Thanks in advance, and administrator, move to appropriate section if this is not. Thanks!

Not sure who you're buying from but whatever you do avoid Chantilly Auto Sales at all cost!!!! I bought a 335i from there and it was in the shop for a month only 24 hours after I bought it. Problem after problem until it finally caught on fire. They stock alot of 335s which is why I must warn you.

If you can't schedule anything better. I'd go to the closest dealer, and specifically ask them to inspect for all know issues (injectors, HPFP, OFHG, Valve Cover Gasket, etc.). Normally run you an hour of labor.

Probably should do plugs and walnut blast regardless.

FYI, depending on the year, it may be eligible for the extended FRM and injector campaigns.

Thanks for the info. I ended up taking it to the dealer. Clean bill of health. 2011 Coupe, Space Grey, Saddle Brown, MT, Moonroof delete, no options-stripper, 1 owner, no accidents, and 9,000 miles. In LOVE!

Wow.. where'd you find that? I am also located in NOVA & thought I had scoured to the ends of the local bimmer world
