Aberdeen MD at Cal Ripken Stadium. Last year was the first year, this year should be even bigger. People are coming from all up and down the east coast as well as out west.

I am at a half marathon that day. Would love to have a Diesel row. Then again, my car looks like a 328i untouched with the stock springs and entry wheels.

Chris, we should set a meet up though.

Bummer. It doesn't matter if your car looks stock. There are LOTS of stock cars that go the Fest and a few modified ones too . It's more about a bunch of BMW enthusiasts getting together, not to mention checking out all of the eye candy!

As for meets, some guys in the mid atlantic section tried setting up regular meets at the Hooters in Rockville, MD, but the meets were always during the weekday and nobody showed and it fizzled out. There is a Cars and Coffee event every Saturday in Fulton (near Looneys) that a lot of the BMW Car Club guys attend and there is this one which has really picked up steam. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=650610

Keep an eye out for the time/date for the fall Pie-Run on the BMW car club website. Paul Pseto usually puts a post up under the Mid Atlantic section. I definitely want to do that this time around. I have missed every one of them since buying my car.

Bimmerfest 2012

Chris, I tried to find you and your car however I must have missed you in the huge crowd of people and cars. I was looking for other diesels and didn't see any. I thought I had the only one until I saw your in the photos that you posted. Your car looks bad ass with the new rear bumper and lowered suspension! I am interested in the fall Pie run? Let me know when you get some more details and will research it myself as well. I am in for a drive. The parking lot car show can get old after a while. See ya.

Hey Billy, I found your car, but not you! lol. The d looked awesome! I was parked right on the end a couple of rows closer to the front than where you were parked. Thanks for the compliment, other than the wheels my car looks a little different than last year. There was one other diesel owner there that I chatted with briefly who was parked near me. Other than that I think we were the only 3 diesels there.

I will post the fall Pie Run details up here as as soon as I hear - hopefully you can make it. I suspect it will be in October.

Chris, I sure like the M Sport bumper on your car! I'd like to find one that I could fit to my car, but I'm in the midst of suspension changes, and that's soaking up most of my money right now. The next buy will be an i/c if we can get one produced to fit our cars.

Thanks buddy. OEM all the way - Tischer/GetBMWParts.com. I understand where you're coming from, I wish I could do more, more quickly but I think my wife would divorse me. You should see the CF lip I just put on, it sets off the bumper real good - I can't show you right now since it just got torn off and destroyed this week while driving through a construction zone. New one is on the way though.
