Stolen Alpina D3:Nottingham area
Copied from another site, but the the more eyes looking, the better...
Stolen in a burglary,an Alpina D3 - graphite grey, registration number FJ08 FFY. "We live in Hucknall which is just north of Nottingham so if anyone sees it, please let me or the police know". |

Can't understand why they would steal that, won't it stick out like a sore thumb because of how rare they are?

If they're prepared to take the risk, as you would with a normal E90, I can see why they've done it... A more desirable end product or individual parts to sell on. Dum dum dum! Another one bites the dust |

Article in this saturday's telegraph on the very subject...
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/...sed-crime.html Seemingly the 3 series is not even in the top 10 "most stolen" - that surprised me after all the Watchdog interest etc.

As I was told before the criminals choice of car is Audi. The amount if them being stolen far outweighs any other. They didn't think there was any issue with BMW and figures haven't gone up in recent times. |
