new bmw owner...and new forum user
Hi there. Just wanted to introduce myself and my car**my name is Mika and my car is LoLa... I'm a pretty new bmw owner so I'm still learning..please forgive me if I ask some simple questions lol. My baby is a 2006 330.. love love love her. Haven't done too much modification... mostly physical in getting rid of all chrome and wrapped in black (roof included) had fun plasti dipping the stock rims.. which were recently replaced with 19s. Intake was put in not too long ago as well. She sounds so beautiful when she takes off.. next I'm thinking brakes..coilovers or exhaust..not to sure which direction to go just yet. Look forward to yalls help!! Also you can find me on Instagram. .. hellamika plenty of pictures of my car there if your curious..

Oh lord it's like prison around here.. A chick walks in and dudes go apeshit.. Only thing worse then E90post is some of the bodybuilding forums I'm on but at least 80% of the dudes there are juicing like Tropicana, so at least they have an excuse.

Do we recommend those straight air intake filter thingies?
I experienced this in my Alfa and it makes the engine really dirty and lowers low end torque. Although it sounds nice. I suppose the torque is lower because the air flow is not going straight and can't be measured properly. Correct me if I'm wrong or if the installation on a 330i prevents those issues. |

In before all the teenage horn dogs completely blow up this thread. Oh wait...too late.
Where is that thread about whether coupes or sedans are feminine, and naming them? Seems gone...mysteriously. |

I think it was a draw with the coupe vs sedan argument...then the mods deleted it. I drive a girly car, as per the forum standards. |

The 330 scratched that itch between 215 HP 325 and the 230 HP 328 at the time at 255 HP, and it was as sad day in BMW history when they halted production on it. Way back in 2006, I had a choice between a fully loaded executive demo 325, and to wait for a 330 that would've came only about one month later to the dealership. True story! I often wonder how my bimmer journey would have changed, had I sat in a 330 as my first. Mika, take care of that car as if it were some rare jewel- because it is. |
