Im kind of surprised but the price expectations of some on this thread

Lets review the current options available

AA Gen I: rear section only with no muffler only resonator ($599)
AFE catback $1195
GTHAUS rear section only $1198 . adding mids will add another $1000
Magnaflow rear + mid $1148
Remus rear $857

So looking at the previous option having the AA rear for $699 retail and mid for $499 is very reasonable pricing

Agreed, although that isnt really special pricing, it's been that price for at least the 5 months I've been looking at it.

If we are discounting personal sound preference, (I actually like the sound of this new system, and hated the original AA exhaust,) if we put sound aside, we are left with cold hard facts. HP gain facts. Does this new exhaust have better gains than the PE that would help to justify the price?

I realize I sound kind of like I'm shitting on this, but I'm not trying to. I'm just trying to be objective.

I understand what you are saying but you cannot compare retail price to a discounted price.

I bet that if you go to the dealer section, you will get the AA exhaust for much less in the vendor section (even less with the group buy we are going to do )

Sorry you feel that way but i posted a list of the most popular choices for the N52

whether it is rear only or rear + midpipe, as you can see the AA is very reasonably priced compared to other exhausts on the list
