My brother has a 2001 330i with the sport package. His stock exhaust on the sport packaged equipped e46 has a better exhaust note than my e90 328i.

Anybody know which e46 exhaust I'm referring to? Good note until low engine load.
Is there an aftermarket exhaust for the e90 328i that will mimic the exhaust note and behavior of the e46 stock exhaust?

e46 uses 2 pipe for exhaust instead of e90 2 in 1 design.

will make the sound a bit more better.

only exhaust like that for e90 will be supersprint, or you have to go with
custom.

The M54 and N52 are different engines. In my opinion, the M5x motors sounded much better than the new generations.

But the M-Performance exhaust gets great reviews for the N52. I think that will be more of the sound you're looking for.
