You have options and that's why I can't understand why people keep making a big deal out of this. If your LPFP is failing, replace it. The crazy thing is i just got a brand new hpfp and upgraded to the walbro 450lph...i still get fuel pump codes and both of these are brand new... I run about 70% e85 with the jb4 g5 n bms flash...thinking if the inline booster will help me bcuz i surely thought the single walbro would... Ps. The car only give me fuel pump codes on map 7 18.5psi when wot from 2nd gear on...map 5 is ok most of the time

are you holding low pressure fine? you should see always 70 psi or so across the board.

You have to be careful not to introduce additional head loss into the equation by using restrictive fittings or sharp bends. If you have a T fitting, you really need to change that to a Y fitting. Tony did a dual pump in parallel, you could try that and see if that helps. Funny thing, I never had any codes in 2nd gear. Always 3rd to 4th at WOT post shift. Good luck.

Fwiw, we have supported 600whp (no meth) with a single turbo running straight e85 with just our inline LPFP add-on. No codes. Also, be wary that the cheaper inline pumps from walbro don't quite flow as well as one may need with a big turbo upgrade. Nor does it seem as if they are e85 submersible for long term use. The phrase "you get what you pay for" seems to apply here.

It's a details business. If your low pressure is below 70psi then the booster or replacement pump will bring it back up to 70psi. If it's not then it isn't an issue. A CSV log will tell you everything you need to know. Just email it in to BMS if you need further advice on how to resolve it.

Shiv - do you have any datalogs that show HPFP is not taking a nose dive on a FBO twin turbo car?

I've seen several cases where the DIY pump was not installed correctly. There's a few small details that are important and if you don't know what you're doing you might miss something. The instructions have changed several times since it first came out, I haven't looked at it recently to see if they worked out all the problems yet.

i had a local shop do it for me and i had bought the two plastic tees in terrys description and they didnt install the T connector just the one that has 2 ends...i dont even kno how it was installed...i think that may be the culprit
