Did Vishnu go out of business?

I have about 6 messages in to both the main number and Shiv's cellphone and emails into them with no reply in over a month. Does anyone know if they have gone out of business, or whats going on?

I am getting a CAN DME code 11351 when requesting 50-75% throttle at low RPM's only on tuned maps, map 0 does not exhibit this.

I wish Cobb would release their n55 tune, I am tired of dealing with this.

Vishnu doesn't care for n55.

Folks, these venders aren't always multi-person large businesses. Some times these vendors on these sites are kids with a website - with no CS or Tech support.

+1 very true!

My guess it that vishnu makes enough money off the N54 that they don't care about the 55 for now.

So you actually believe they just don't call back or respond to email from N55 owners?

Vishnu certainly does NOT check or respond to the N55 subforum. They don't even comment in a thread specifically asking if they are going out of business. You would think at the very least, they should comment and address this question.

As I said before, I have seen Shiv himself comment in the N54 subforum in threads that aren't even Procede related. Even when N54 guys complain about a strange symptom they are having and they are using JB, Shiv will occasionally chime in on those threads but he doesn't bother to in a Vishnu-specific thread in the N55 subforum.

This is the Official Vishnu Performance Update thread in the N55 subforum that was started by the Vishnu team. It was updated about 3 or 4 times by the Vishnu team on the first few days and hasn't been updated since even though there are tons of questions directed to Vishnu and even some Vishnu bashing at the end of the thread, still no response, rebuttal, defense or even a cheap excuse for the lack of support. It's like they just gave up on us...

I don't like to hear this type of frustration. Not sure how long ago your emails were sent, but not responding to a customer's emails within a few business days is not good. Forums are hit or miss IMO. I have an N54 procede and if what you say is true (I don't spend much time on the N55 boards) then it wouldn't be a very smart business move since the N55-type platform appears to be the future of performance-oriented BMWs...In summary, Vishnu is a relatively small outfit and they can't spend all day replying to emails, but a few days should suffice.

Or what about this thread, where he promised to email out some N55 beta maps that were supposed to be more refined than the currently available maps:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=685237&page=4

That was promised in early May, five months later, not a single person has received these beta maps and again, no response from Vishnu on the matter.

It would be nice to at least get a "Oh sorry for the delay guys, we are still working on these new maps and are not yet ready for beta testing because blah blah blah..." or something to acknowledge the delay and let us know they are still working on it.

Except we are talking about no returns to phone or emails, meaning they would have the ability to read your mind when you call, know you are either an N54 or N55 owner, and then decide to answer or not.

I have never owned or bought anything from them. They clearly have a history of shitty customer service, N54 or N55.

Actually, that's my point! Historically, Vishnu has provided great customer service. I had a N54 2008 335i that was Procede tuned and they were great about responding back to all forms of communication, forums, emails, calls, etc. Since I switched to my N55 2011 135i, also Procede tuned, then the customer service started to suffer, which is exactly why I am so disappointed with Vishnu now.

If they had shitty customer service to begin with, then I would not complain in the N55 subforum about it since this would be a problem affecting all customers, N54 and N55. However, Vishnu only seems to be neglecting the N55 folks. Go check the N54 subforum and see how frequently the Vishnu team responds in there.
