Boot lid and carbon trim were both from M-Style. Bootlid fit was much better than I expected, carbon trim takes an age to arrive.

Those lights look great, would love to do mine. Sorry for the stupid question but was it just the outside of the light you sprayed? Did u remove them from the boot lid to do? Really want to have ago but just a bit unsure as I've never done any painting what so ever. Your car looks awesome would love to get mine looking like that!

The bootlid swap is really straightforward. Took a little time to tweak the holes for the number plate lights (just needed a wee file), and then to get the alignment right. Thankfully the hinges offer heaps of scope for adjustment and the lid itself is very light.
I'm running KW coilovers. They are brilliant, the ride is better than stock - helped no doubt by losing the dreadful run flat tyres!

Yes. Just the inner lights and I removed them from the bootlid to minimise the risk of overspray - also allowed me to pop them in the oven to speed the drying process between coats! I only sprayed them externally.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I'm pleased with way its sitting, particularly as the front bumper was a bit of an unknown entity. You usually get what you pay for, and being so cheap I was not holding out much hope! The M3 wheels are growing on me. I think I might just sell the CSL reps and run the M3's all year round. Next up I've got an electric rear sunblind coming, and I think I'm going to do something with the seats and the scratched grab handle on the drivers door card.

Bought some E46 18's cheap with nearly new tyres:

The local wildlife brought the fog lamp grilles life to a premature end. I decided to install the M3 open ducts and lose the fog lamps altogether:

Picked up a used set of 3SDM's and had a go with some Lamin-x to add alittle colour to the fronts:

I like the new look.
So much so, I may even clean the damn thing for the first time since July....

I follow your thread on Ed38 and love what you've done with this thing. The boot lid and steering wheel are stunning.
